The staff was really welcoming, I mean they greeted me with a glass of port and a piece of cake, who does that? And when I needed help with the appliances in the room, they explained everything clearly and were very attentive.

It wasn't the most affordable stay, but for the experience, I'd say it was acceptable.

Just a balanced option for a quick break in Porto with good value. The breakfast was high quality but got repetitive after a few days. Make sure to reserve a table at the restaurant to avoid disappointment.

You can't beat the dining scene around Pestana, with gems like Restaurante Abadia do Porto serving up mouthwatering local dishes. Plus, we glutted ourselves at Cafe Santiago for the best francesinha! The location is spot on, and the decor adds a fun twist with each floor having its own spice theme. I loved our stay!

I loved how I could easily walk to the stunning Clerigos Tower and the beautiful Jardins do Palacio de Cristal, making my stay truly memorable. The check-in experience was pleasant with clean, stylish rooms that offered a welcoming vibe.

Our stay was marred by significant issues, particularly related to room assignments. We had paid for a Superior Double or Twin Room with a View, but ended up in the least desirable room with no view at all, despite many unoccupied rooms nearby. The bathroom layout proved troublesome with glass walls that left little privacy and a slippery shower that spilled water everywhere. There's hardly any space for two suitcases, which made it a juggling act to access our belongings. The noise from the surrounding area also disrupted our peace, especially at night. Lastly, the dining options felt limited and not up to standard during dinner service, which was notably slow and erroneous.

Pestana is ideally located in a beautiful old building that is meticulously modernized. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and feature large comfortable beds. I particularly enjoyed the balconies overlooking the street, providing a lovely ambiance. The staff demonstrated exceptional politeness and were highly attentive to my requests, making my work stay much more convenient.
